It's a newer version with ball arms. Still a Ludwig part but an 80's/90's part rather than the 70's version.
It could be new, Ludwig still makes them..;)

Yeah... never heard back, probably a good thing as I really don't have $800 to blow on another kit. Might have jumped the gun too quick on that one!
