70's LUDWIG VISTA-CHROME Last viewed: 7 hours ago

In the course of 12 years of dealing drums I realized I had a complete set of orphaned Vistalite drums that were all cosmetically unacceptable due to heavy gouges, scratches, cracks, etc.. I decided to take these drums and repair cracks were needed and rewrap the drums in Chrome wrap to make a complete 6 pc. set of 70's Vistalite drums that are now structurally sound as well as aesthetically beautiful...and here they are. New Remo Black Suede batter heads and Attack Ebony resonant heads help make the drums look awesome. All chrome is 9 out of 10 and this set needs to go play somewhere and been seen and heard. Asking $1,200 for the 14x22,8x12,9x13,16x16,16x18 and 5.5x14 snare. All drums are true 70's Ludwig Vistalites and absolutely gorgeous...stunning if I do say so myself, but you be the judge. Tried these on ebay and got plenty of looks but no bites. Let's see how they do here...........

heads spin freely on the shells...plenty of room, so nope, no issue with heads.

Hey, those look great!

Thanks Bill...sure salvadged a full set of ugly Vistalite shells. I honestly thought these would have flown out of here but not so. They are great to have sitting in the "show room" though so I don't mind keeping them around.
