Just picked this up. Had Precision True out all the edges. There were some dings and I may have acted too quickly value wise ?
They look, and sound very good.

Dings or not, that's freaking awesome. You found a hen's tooth. It's a 14x18 bass drum, right, not a 12x18?
Man that's cool as Christmas !!

Yes, it's 18x14. Thanks very much. Never heard that expression.
I'll use it I. The future.
I can't believe I found. Really happy about it.
Now that's something you sure don't see everyday. Those are superb!
Mike
Wow! Where did you find that hens tooth!?!? :)
Very cool indeed sir!
At my local drum shop. Long Island Drum Center in Nyack, NY
Frank, the owner was nice enough to give me first dibs.
The week before, he had a 60's in Natural wood get sold for $3000.
Mine cost me $2000. Maybe slightly high, but he's got rent to pay.
Thanks Mike. I don't usually get lucky finding the interesting ones.
Oh my gosh, $2k? That's totally not too high. I feel pretty confident it would end higher than that in an auction, unless it's in way worse condition than what we can see in the pic. Congrats!
