At my local drum shop. Long Island Drum Center in Nyack, NY

Frank, the owner was nice enough to give me first dibs.

The week before, he had a 60's in Natural wood get sold for $3000.

Mine cost me $2000. Maybe slightly high, but he's got rent to pay.

Oh my gosh, $2k? That's totally not too high. I feel pretty confident it would end higher than that in an auction, unless it's in way worse condition than what we can see in the pic. Congrats!
