Hey guys I am taking feelers on this kit. It's 100% original with the only issue being some slight cracking of the wrap. I was using this kit in my band's old practice space. We have since moved into a new fully equipped place so this kit is sitting on my shelf looking nice and not much else.

I would like to get $1100 SHIPPED!

I would consider partial trades for the following and cash:

Gretsch 4157 Snare

Rogers Dynasonic

Super Ludwig

Thanks,

Manny

Sizes? Did I miss the sizes? Buddy Rich to me means 24, 13, 16, but not sure that's what everyone else thinks. Sweet kit.

I think you need to show the cracking in the wrap, from what I recall seeing it on another site, it was pretty significant.

These are nice drums.

Seems the cracked wrap issue is more common with Rogers wraps of the 60s. I recall seeing a Rogers kit years ago (not this one) with blue zebra-like wrap with a horrible cracking issue on all drums. Was it the type of wrap Rogers used at the time that made it prone to cracking?

Yes sir it is. Not trying to hide anything:

The sizes are 13,16, 22 and I refuse to re wrap the kit although if I keep it I will do the repair methods I have seen on here. I am on the road with work so more detailed pictures will have to wait. From what I understand it was the glue that Rogers used back in the 60's that would cause the cracking issue along with changes in temperature.

I just got a promotion at work (found at today) so I really don't need to sell. I am after the Super Ludwig so I can put together a Joe Morello setup.

According to the catalog the "Celebrity" outfit was either 12/14or16/14x20 or 13/16/14x22. Both set ups containing the extra cymbal mount.

That is correct. The other cymbal arm was missing when I bought the kit. No extra holes or modifications at all. All mufflers there. The wrap cracking is the only issue. Remo coated Ambassadors top and bottom on the toms. Remo PS4 batter side bass drum and Remo Ambassador coated on Reso with what looks like a repro Rogers logo sticker.

To my knowledge no one makes the blue strata wrap anymore or I would have the kit fully restored. I can't bring myself though to mess with a kit so nice even with the wrap issues as it is a rare finish these days. Yes I know with zero wrap issues it would fetch more - I saw a kit on eBay and one at Steve Maxwell's for a lot more but of course no wrap issues.

The band's first music video was done with the old drummer. I have been with the band since I have been back from Germany. I have other videos and have gigged with them for about a year now. I also have some other videos and recordings coming out soon.

My second band will also be having some of it's first shows soon. We all came from other bands so it is more of a fun side project.
