IMO, and probably just me, but as good as the folding spurs look, I can't help thinking the disappearing ones are more user friendly. My Super Classic folding spurs require a lot of tightening to make them solid and the last time I gigged it one of the mount threads stripped out. The disappearing spurs work perfectly for sideways stability and an anchor on the front or velcro under the pedal stop the creeping.

I bet the smart, working, "old pro" drummers opted for ordering the disappearing spurs, because they do work better.

Condition is pretty good.Of course there is some yellowing to the WMP but not bad.Chrome is better than most I started with. There is one problem I can not fix.Someone used tape on the BD shell to hold a felt muffler in place. It looks like kit may have been athletic tape.I figured I could get it off some how.I got the tape and adhesive off BUT it stained the shell yellow.I sanded, buffed and polished, but it is there to stay. Most is hidden under the head when assembled.Refinishing BD hoops which are in good shape.Original BD heads that are useable. The rest will be replaced. It is a nice little set and I am glad to have it.Oh,one more thing!someone carved WILD on the inside of the BD.My last name is....WILDT...OOOOEEEE ,
