I have a Vintage Slingerland Snare 5 x 14, 8 lugs

The shell is made of chrome over brass and the hoops are also chrome over brass. The drum is outfitted with the Zoomatic snare strainer

Still the original strainer, held on with metal instead of plastic.

Bottom head is new, older top head.

She sounds great!
