Date Stamp: June 19, 1965 "M"

Original lugs (16), COB stick saver hoops, rods & tone control Interestingly, there is no vent hole or badge, but this is period correct for a 1965 Slingerland.

The previous owner used this with a 3 piece Gretsch RB in black nitron so, naturally, he primed and painted it black. I was able to completely remove all the paint and found this beauty underneath.

There are still some splotchy areas on the shell but they were really hard to photograph (not from a lack of trying - lots of pics) Overall I would give an 8/10 with no structural issues. Chrome hardware is in very good condition with minimal pitting & the shell just sings. Really great sounding drum

Leg brackets were updated with newer hardware and there are no extra holes but the bottom hole was widened. Please look at the last 3 pics of the leg mount holes - modded hole on left side.

I'm not 100% sure about the shell layup, but appears that the interior ply is Maple. Mahogany, Poplar, Maple with Maple Reinforcement rings
