Thanks......I used to have a partial kit just like this when I was just starting to drum almost 30 years ago. In my mind, I equated those drums to be......not good, cheap, junk, etc. of course they sounded like it with my lack of any tuning skills or good heads (I could not afford).

Then I got this kit and then played them (in fact recorded with them), and of course they are properly cleaned and cared for, tuned well, etc. - and now my view of them is that they are some real nice drums, especially considering the popularity of Star made MIJs. I have to part with these to justify another recent purchase (a 68 or 69 R-380).

When I listed these initially, I got 2 hits (very interested parties) within 10 hours. I predict these will generate sufficient interest once the right eyes have seen this ad. I mean - shoot - we only have over 11000 members here!!! It's only a matter of time before I get these hits like I did before........

BTW - listed for 190 on CL - but this price will be discounted to my fellow VDF members here.......
