When was the last time you saw a Gretsch snare drum that still had the original WIDE 42-strand Power snares? As I scrolled through the pictures of this complete and rather nice set, I was stunned to see the original Gretsch snare wires. I recall (as a young guy) marveling at the thought of a snare drum with 42 wires.
