I wouldn't even care if all the parts were FUBAR. That's a vintage solid body Radio King for $300.

Worry about getting parts later. Vintage solid body Radio Kings don't drop out of the sky every day. You can't get a new solid shell for that money, much less a 60/70 year-old Radio King.

You should do that too, of course, if you are going to pursue it, but I wouldn't wait long.

There's plenty of cats out there with parts in good condition waiting for these shells to pop up.

I paid $300 for mine (exactly like the one listed) and it came complete with two coats of white house paint over the trashed duco finish. Easy to restore and it's the most amazing snare to play. Snag it.
