40's Ludwig Muffler Sizes Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I just noticed that I have 2 models of 40's internal mufflers.

I have 3 so far for my 40's THC project.

2 have arms that are approx 2 inches long.

The third one has longer arms about 2 3/4 inches long.

So this one has a longer throw.

Anyone know if the longer arm model is for the snare? 7x14

Are the shorter ones for toms?

The longer arm muffler I have had them on both toms and snare drums.

Just put them where you want?

The correct location is between badge and strainer.
