Make sure the strainer works. If not, you may have to file it down on the inside groove. That's a very good trade for your friend.

The top rim that has the engraved "Ludwig" is found on the White and Black Inspiration Models (also the Ludwigold and Stippel Models),...You could call it an un-engraved DeLuxe Model...I have a 5x14 version that has chrome hardware a 4x14 version with gold plated hardware.
