He did - he's pretty fantastic for his age, honestly... he can still play Introduction without missing a beat in all those strange time signatures.. but then again he does stay active and plays regularly. Kenny Aronoff was there also but I missed his session.

Thanks for posting that. This is the first CT show I've missed since they moved to that venue. I see that most of the familiar regulars returned and had their booths set up. Nice to see that Matt was able to recover most of his stolen gear to set up his CT Pro Percussion table. So, did you find any deals?

Nice! Reminds me of a TV show titled Somewhere Street on NHK.

Never play it the same way once.

Enjoyed the video. Nothing like that here in the south. Saw my psychedelic red kit was there, happy no one bought it before me.....

I went to the show, second one for me. Really enjoyed Danny S playing. I Picked up a really nice 1917 W&A snare and met Jeremy Esposito the new President of W&A. A great guy ! I also bought one of their new snares. If you look on the bay it is the one Danny is is playing in their ad for the champagne kit. Also picked up a bunch of parts I was looking for to complete some repairs and builds. Really enjoyed talking to Mr Layton. A wealth of knowledge on Ludwig drums. Also talked with John Sheridan all about Gretsch drums. Am now counting the days untill next years show. Just wish I could have talked the wife into letting me go to the Chicago show !

I heard that there is a show in the NE section of Pennsylvania and another in Delaware. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it.

No Guru - I just love collecting & learning about vintage drums!

Some of my favorites from the kits in the collection
58 WFL New Yorker Blue Sparkle
67 Ludwig Hollywood Red Psychedelic
69 Ludwig Standard Red Ruby Strata
70's Ludwig BOP "Ringo" Kit

A few of my favorite snares
20's Leedy Black Elite
51 Leedy & Ludwig Knob Tension
58 WFL Buddy Rich Classic Blue Sparkle
