Per the Van Halen kit - 11 pieces, black and white stripes. I need some advice on some good heads for these drums. They have remo clear pin stripes now but they are dead because of age. I wanted to use the "old school" black dot heads like Alex used on his kit mainly for looks but I've never played the black dot heads. These are power toms up top and two 22's that really need something to make them sing. I know Rockers aren't maple classics but they deserve some love also. I use Remo white Emperor coated for batter and Ambassador for resonate side for my maple classics and that's a great match up and tune bottom head 1/3 higher than top, kinda like Bonham. Now, the ol' rockers need some help. Thanks
