Incredible condition. Look, sound, and play great. They have been in storage and only played 3 times in the past 20 years. My brother bought them new and donated them to the special needs school where I teach. I'm going to use the money to purchase more instruments for our music program which is like a "School of Rock" on a budget. Include Zildjian cymbal bought with the kit. Located in Northern Virginia. Robert, this kit is so rare it can't be compared to anything else. as suggested ebay is a good way to go larger target market. and selling the stands and cymbals may bring more money, we have 2 large vintage dealers here on the forum,I'm hoping they will chime in or email me again I'll gladly give you their names and email address!
Well, $2500 it is. See the "how much is it worth" thread for pictures and rational. Okay guys, it's for a good cause, the kit is in amazing shape, and it's a rare piece of history. Any takers?
Thanks to everyone out there for the help.
I went ahead and put it on ebay. It's getting close to the beginning of school and I want to use the money for our music program. Opening bid is only $1200.
