It's always difficult to say if a price is good or not without seeing clear pictures.

Now, with that being said, here's a few things I want to know more about:

You said the legs were upgraded to classics. Are you talking about the bass drum legs?

As to the extra tom, what lugs are on the Standard kit? I've actually seen a few Standard kits that came from the factory with Classic lugs, as opposed to Standard lugs. If you're talking about a mix of lugs, I wouldn't consider that very desirable as far as cosmetics are concerned.

Lastly, the Standards did use the same shells as the Classic series. The very first year still had the white reso-coat interiors, but all other years had the grayish ludcoat interiors.

This is still the Standard series and I think that $600 is a tad too high. However, condition tells the story. Post pictures!

I think it's a fair price....if you could get them for $500 that would make a nice set. I have a '69 Blue Strata set in 20/12/16 with an earlier Ludwig Vistalite snare that I've owned since 1976.

Thanks for posting that picture! I went to the CL ad and saw it as well.

Based on what I see, the asking price appears fair to me, too.

The 12" tom is not a classic series, but an actual Standard. I was confused by the original post, knowing that a Classic tom was not available in Blue Strata.

Again, looks like a nice vintage Standard kit. Get it and enjoy!

I say that is a beautiful cool wrap and I bet they sound awesome......but I would never pay $600 for them unless I was completely in love with them because they are missing the inlays and have, not just extra holes (from the double Tom mount), but a gigantic extra hole! Again though if you love them and they sound like what you want I would pay no more than $500 for them.
