I'm pretty sure the Downbeat was just a 4 piece (I used to have one), the mention of the extra holes tells me somebody moved the rail & added an extra tom holder & the 9x13.

Am I remembering correctly that when BEC was selling off about 90 snare drums last year one of his Jazz Fests was in that finish? It is a fairly rare finish and draws a large premium as a result, If that finish was one of those in his collection maybe somebody can inform us, maybe even BEC, what a drum in that finish is really worth.
