COS = chrome on/over steel?.
Ludwig didn't make any steel snares in the 60's that I am aware of, should be Ludalloy chrome over aluminum. If by chance it was a steel shell it would be one of a kind, stick a magnet to the shell, if it sticks its steel.

there has always been some talk about a few steel supras. I haven't had one in my hands though. I did,however, run across a seller recently that said he had one. he said that the magnet cleary stuck to the shell itself. I wasn't able to acquire it though..

So due to rarity, would a COS 400 be worth more than a COB?

Oh....wait......what?!
I thought a steel shelled Supra was super common? It's a 100% chance its magnetic magnets hold on tight lol.
So because its an early 60's steel its rare?
