A few weeks ago I was in New Orleans on business and I ran into a 1964 Ludwig Supraphonic at a flea market. It was missing a top head, and was pitting really bad but was definitely playable. I asked him how much he wanted for it and he said $25. I bought it immediately, he told me he had two more like it in the back. He had another one that was identical but dated 1965 and another 1970s 6.5 aluminum supraphonic. Needless to say I bought all of them. Im now restoring them, Ive already cleaned one up and it sounds great. The other two need more work since I don't have the parts. Does anyone on here have 14" 10 Lug supra phonic hoops laying around? I need 3 top heads and a bottom head. I would be willing to trade one of the 5" shells with hardware for some hoops. Let me know if any of y'all have any extra hanging around.
