If you are at all handy with a drill and a file you can make the parts out of some flat aluminum stock, 2 bolts, 4 washers and 2 nuts.

I was thinking that. I know some guys that do auto parts and maybe they can make me something
if you need pics and measurements of the stock parts let me know, mine is in the process of being set up to my liking.
I agree with purdie shuffle. I have some new and old speed kings and a few ghosts pedals that I used for years and would not touch the inner springs of the ghost pedals, but having said that, I have been playing Pearl double Demon drives on 68 ludwigs so I guess this makes me a hippocrit ( if I could spell it ).

Sure thats a easy fix.Thats because i have the part you need new old stock..Oh if you dont know on how to work on then by this i mean the inside springs dont take it apart..On a side note i use to repair these padels for Alex Van Halen so if you have any questions about it feel free to ask...Mikey
Thanks everyone for your help. I just got the parts to repair it. I can't wait to get it put together and give it a try.
Hi,
I know this is an old post. Is the Ghost painted blue or black?
Thanx,
