1960 - 1963 Premier 54 Vintage Jazz Bop Drum Set in Beautiful condition. Needs nothing. Ready to play or add to a collection.

This is one from my private collection. I never played it out or have taken it out of the house. No seam or ply separation. Chrome is in excellent condition.

I have completely went through this kit, validated the shells, lubed lugs, and all hardware mechanisms.

Cleaned and polished. All original. This would be considered a 'time capsule' kit as it comes with all the original accessories.

- Original hardware case and original hardware, brushes, seat, pedal, cowbell and holder, cymbal stand, hi hat stand, sticks, drum key, snare bumper (protects snare from marking the tom). (

- Original bass drum and 12" tom cases

Toms have the original heads.

The sizes are 14x20, 8x12, 16x16, 5.5x14. (These are the sizes stated in the brochure image.)

However the toms are metric/international.

12" = 11 7/8"

16" = 16 5/8"

You can get these sizes from Remo. I have a new Remo coated ambassador 11 7/8" head I'll throw in.

Standard drum heads hit nicely on the snare and bass drum.

The matching Royal Ace snare is in excellent condition. The strainer works perfectly. No part missing. Original snares are in excellent condition. It has the original bottom head, Batter head is a vintage Remo coated ambassador. It's in great shape and plays like butter.

Bass drum has the one of the original calf skin heads on the front side. ( Both original calf heads come with it.) There is a DW head on the batter side. It actually sounds real good with it. Next owner can decide which head stays.

All drums have a consistent fade. The tree shade from the outdoor pics makes the wrap fade look inconsistent.

NOTE! One thing I do want to point out is a small tannish spot appeared on top of the bass drum. I've add a pic of it in the listing. Not sure why this happened now... It's not there in recent photos.

This kit will make an excellent addition to anyone's drum collection.If you ever wanted THE "Kenny Clarke (Klook)" kit... this is the one.
