Ok,

I found this puppy on C.R. San Diego listed for $200.Noticing a familiar looking square center bead running around the middle of the shell...and needing parts i took a chance. With 20's era black beauty, sealed, returning bearing edges,8-lugs,NOB hoops, wfl can opener throw, and pure-sound wires, this baby sounds soooo KILLER!!! SUPER HAPPY!!!Laughing H!!!

Great score!

Are those the correct lugs? They look more rounded, not squared in the middle............

Also,of course, the drum would be worth WAY more if you completed it with the right hoops/strainer etc.....

Not to belittle your score, the lugs are not of the era...you'll be able to find the right lugs, in the meantime enjoy your score!

Thanks Fellas,

Correct you are guys, i really need the correct lugs, muffler and the throw...minimal extra holes(2)...this shell sounds really amazing!!! played it behind a 24,13,16 WFL this morning and against all 6.5 supra's(63',64',68',and a 6.5-Acrolite)all with 10 lugs VS this 8 lugger...and i like the Anniversary better!!!

If any of you have a lead on any of these missing parts...PLEASE let me know Bowing. As i have stuff to trade and Cash too...i would really be happy with any help on this to make it as original as possible...

Cheers mates,

Sean

Give A Drummer's Tradition a shout in San Rafael, CA. They have tons of parts and I seem to remember seeing 30's era Imperial lugs there.

For $200, you did really well!
