I really like the sound. Very crisp and has a beautiful ring to it. One of the lugs is a bit mangled so I couldn't get the bottom head right where I wanted it but it still sounds great. I was really surprised the first time I hit it without much tuning. Which is good cuz I am not the best tuner in the world. Really just dialed it in the same way I do my Supra's or as close as I could get with the bad lug.

Not a ton of restoration on the drum Mike. I actually read a bunch of your posts to get an idea how to clean it up. I am going to be playing it in my studio so there was no need for a total re-store. Just a light polish on the shell and hoops. Then Cape Cod Cloth on the lugs, hoops and strainer parts plus a couple coats of the Nikolas Gold Laquer. Plus I had to futz a bit with the bad lug to even get it usable. One of the tabs inside that keep the tubes from spinning was bent out of place. So I had to heat it up a bit and move it back to center.
