Unknown snare drum, Ludwig & Ludwig ? WFL ? Anything else ?

Loading...

Hi there,

Thanks to VDF for hospitality and help if possible.
I got that thing a couple of days ago. The ex-owner was unable to tell me anything about it, and there is no badge or brand engraved anywhere at first sight.
Seems to be before 1937 regarding the -looks like- Imperial lugs without any inserts, but I'm not an expert at all. Almost everything here is brass nickel plated. Parts have been modified on both sides of the strainer, but it works and the snare sounds great.
Any idea of what it could be and could come from ?

Thanks in advance, best regards, Marc
