OK, now I can talk about 'em, because they're mine now. So far the only one who knew of anything was my buddy Kevins

I'm surprised that nobody got these before me, the price was reasonable, I got them for a bit less. When I got there, I was floored by the condition.

Slingerland Jet 18" bass, 12" rack, 14" floor 5"x14" COB Sound king, era correct hardware ( HH, snare, Cymbal stand) Premier flat base stand, Zil-Bel chrome Cowbell. 15" Zildjian Hats, Pre-serial 602 20" Medium Ride and 18" Thin Crash. Both the Paistes have the red ink describing the cymbal and on the bell underneath. Soft vinyl cases for all drums, vinyl case for cymbals.

Also came with some old drum keys, and a red-seat 3-legged throne? Don't know who made it....

Yep, local pick-up and the price scared most away. Slingy Jets are pretty rare from what I hear, especially ones with the chrome hoops for the bass drum.

Congrats on a seriously nice find. Sweet kit. I especially like the completeness of it. Very cool cymbals, too. Oh man. So sweet.

I'm with you, O-Lugs. Shun the man. I'll get his attention by posing as a midwife. I'll pretend he is having a baby and I need to prepare the room. That will get him away from the back of the house. That will be your cue. You can sneak in the back door and flim-flam-floozy ... Bob's You're Uncle ... WE GOT A JET SET! Oh yeah. It'll work like a charm. You can have the kit on Mondays and Thursdays on the even weeks and I'll take it on Tuesdays and Fridays. We'll swap between Wednesdays and weekends. It'll be great! Odd weeks are decided by Rock-Paper-Scissors with One Potato-Two Potato taking care of a tie. I can't wait.
