Did you find out for sure that the snare is brass..?

There is some hub bub going on over at DFO about an auction for a brass Supra from the seventies.

Don't know for sure.

Based on the weight of the drum, the badge on the drum, and the fact that there's no pitting on the drum, I think that it might be. However, I couldn't find any stamped "B" or BR" anywhere on the shell.

Since it was basically a "freebie" and it sounds GREAT, I'm happy with whatever it is!
