Vintage: Thanks a lot for the lead. I've been going back and forth about selling my set, particularly if I should sell it in parts or as a whole. I suppose the amount I could get for each piece separately would dictate the answer, however I would think that there should be some worth in knowing that the whole set has stayed together for (presumably) 70 years. What do you think? By the way, the set pictured on Ebay is pretty much the set I have, minus the larger tom. Bruce JenningsShaker Heights, OH
Welcome! As many will tell you here, although it might bring a bit more, these older kits are becoming so hard to find in compete, original condtion that you would serve the drumming community well to keep them together. Orphaned drums look so lonely.
A 70s Ludwig, unless it is a really rare wrap, can be parted out, although I don't like busting up any kit, but you see the ponit, there are millions of them.
These old Leedy's, because of the age, have been married for far to long for any of us mere mortals baby crawl2 to break asunder that which was made whole by the drum Gods of yore....flowers2
