Asking a question for a friend:

What heads did John Bonham use for his Timpani drums?

He was in contract with Remo I believe?

Were they calf skin?

Universal Timpani model 895-30"

and the machine Timpani model # 853-29"

you are correct on the timpani model #'s and he used plastic heads on the timpani!!

Hi, thank you but does anyone know what brand of heads. It's for an authenticly as close as possible identical kit.

Most likely Ludwig weathermaster heads.....as thats what would have been fitted to them from the factory. He didn't used his timpani's as much as his regular drums and didn't hit them as hard as the rest of his drums from what I've seen in old clips, so I would assume they may be OEM heads.
