!!!! ready to learn.. so teach me about vintage drums

Lots of good advice. I'm a Ludwig guy myself; they are great drums, and hardware is readily available and fairly inexpensive. Buy as complete a set as you can; cheap orphan drums can be a false economy. By the time you complete the set, you will usually have spent more than the price of a complete set.

If your willing to spend the money. i'd imagine this is a pretty good deal for a vintage Ludwig in Canada.

Check Tom Lees and Long and Mcquade (SP?). Also the classifieds on the drum forums. This one, drumsmith, drum forum etc. There are vintage guys in Van I'm sure. If you want to drive down to Puget Sound region, I have a Rogers 20,12,14 Dayton era players kit I would let go for $1000. Can email pics.
