Loading...

Hello everyone! I recently took posession of the drum pictured here.  I am trying to find out what model and where I can find replacement parts.  Thanks a ton in advance!

It's a WFL Streamelined Squadron. A nice example too. The badge is rotated upside down. Only missing the drum key. First shows up in the '39 WFL catalog. Probably only made for a few years since all of the American drum companies switched to wooden lugs during the height of the war. I don't know if they made them after the war, but it was gone from the '48 catalog when the Classic lug came out in '48.  WFL used the aluminum badge off and on, especially during the war.

The naming is interesting since WWII started in September '39, but it was obvious to the world that Germany was going to start a war for several years. This model was replaced by the Champion in the '48 catalog, since, obviously the Allied forces won the war.
