Wow, that looks fantastic! My Dad was Navy in the late 50's, early 60's. He joined because he wanted to get out of his small town and sail around the world. They stuck him on a tugboat in Connecticut. Ha!

That's absolutely beautiful. My dad was also in WW11, he was a medic on Guadalcanal. He never spoke with me about his time there, only to make a few derogatory comments about the Japanese soldiers. They were indeed the greatest generation.
