So as mentioned in the #1 post, I recently acquired these and haven't seen the throw off before. On #1, the butt plate is common. On this one, it's one I've never seen. It looks similar to the on / off throw, but is clearly adjustable. Only photo of it complete I found was that of a Royalstar snare ( photo included ). If anyone has the part I'm missing that attaches to the shell please let me know. Also - how rare are these?

Hi Jay!
Here are pictures of a Majestic snare drum I had that used this same strainer and throw-off. It was a great sounding drum! I also have an extra strainer and throw-off, complete with all mounting hardware. PM if interested in either or both.
