Ludwig Big Beat at the gig last week Last viewed: 52 minutes ago

I thought I would post a photo of my early 70s Ludwig kit in red sparkle. 3ply shells in players condition but she sounds fantastic. I've had this kit for about 8 years or so now; a friend saved it from going to the trash!

22, 13, 16 setup here, but I also have a 12 inch rack tom as well.

Thanks ya'll!

Thanks Mark! This gig was for a family party and was inside one of the newer style metallic buildings that has a house and garage/shop combined. They fixed the garage are up with an outside kitchen and everything.

LoLoLoLo Sometimes drinking and drumming happens.. it gets hot outside ya know!

I thought the Big Beat was two mounted toms?

The "Big Beat" set was 12/13/16/22/Supra with Atlas stands. The exact same set with flat based stands was the "Hollywood".

Very nice kit. I can't believe someone was gonna actually throw that beauty in the trash !

The funny thing ? We both use the exact same fan, except mine is right behind me ;)..
