How much can I expect to pay for a nice 60's Ludwig Supraphonic?
There is one on eBay now for $325 plus shipping.
I know that there are a lot of things to consider, but I'm a Slingerland guy and I need some education.
Are the olive badge 70's series the same sound as the keystone 60's?
What do I look for?

You can save some money by buying a blue olive badge model. They sound much the same to my ears and are generally less expensive. Also finding a keystone model with a few imperfections can bring the price of those down as well.

Or you can wait until Mike puts another up for sale. Then you're guaranteed a cared for, clean instrument with no worries :)
It seems to me that most of the time, they can be found fairly easily for between 175 to 250ish for pitted crap to clean with some pitting. If you find one that's in good shape without pitting, they seem jump to 300 to almost 400. Especially if it's a keystone era. This does not take into account brass supers of the pre serial 60s..

No, I don't think so. Not unless it is completely spotless. In my opinion anyway...

Are you talking about asking prices? You need to focus on just sold items. Asking prices are not the same as expected prices based on sold items.
I used to track Supra prices as one way of getting a baseline comparison for prices of 602s and Sound Creations, but I haven't been recording them as much since I moved into sorting out old A and old K prices (as and Ks are taking too much time all on their own). The theory is that because Supras are plentiful the ups and downs of prices might correlate with ups and downs of the market for vintage drums and cymbals in general.
Anyway, from my tracking data (based on 68 sales -- not asking prices)
median expected price $230
with half selling for between $178 and $294
Price varies a lot with condition. This may be an overestimate in the current market because it includes data from earlier years. I should plot the change in price over the years, but then I should do a lot of plots given the many years of detailed data I've got. *sigh*
I just picked up this somewhat pitted Keystone badge Supra for $162.50 off of eBay. I have done much better on local Craigslist over the years, and probably buy one a year just because I cannot pass up on the great deal.
I have one I am prepping for sale - not sure how much I will be asking yet - as I need to see how it looks after the clean/polish. It is a B/O badge approx. 1981.
I should have it done in a week or so.
