Zickos had tom mounts that were angled like that. Fibes' mounts were more perpendicular to the bass drum.

I would imagine that set in that video must be very rare

+1 That was my first thought as well...
Used to love Midnight Special.
Great show. I watched most of them back then too. Wolfman Jack as the host and tons of cool bands!
I used to run home if I was out so as not to miss a minute of it. What ever happened to all the great music shows that used to be on TV? You could hear so many great bands regularly.
While we're heaping stuff into the nostalgia bin... I miss FM radio most of all. I used to fall asleep with the headphones on.

Fortunatley,we have the memories of this time period where so many missed out and nobody can ever take those memories away from us-very strong musical time period!I used to watch both those shows when i was on the road.

Yep, those were great shows! I just let my guitar player borrow my three DVD's. The Edgar Winter's Group playing "Frankenstein" was amazing! I also thought that Gladys Knight and The Pips did a remarkable job on "Neither One of Us". I had a huge crush on Gladys Knight as a kid. Hmmm...guess I still do.
