I just checked over at DFO for this member and he does exist. Possibly not a scam after all? Still, I'd proceed with caution.Mark

Thanks Mark but I won't be dealing with this person.

He contacted me to sell ME a set of Ludwig gullwing spurs as he called them. As I said I don't know why he did cause I'm not looking for them.

If he was I would have told to buy them off of ebay. But he wanted to sell me a pair. Again still don't know why.

Just so that the new member gets off on an even keel here.... He confirms that he was trying to BUY the spurs... not to sell anything.. so I believe that you have misinterpreted his approach...

Cheers

I had to go back and read what he said to me again and you are right I completely read It the wrong way. I thought he wanted to sell me spurs. My apologises to him and everyone here. I don't know how I as you said misinterpreted him.

SORRY to everyone here. I completely misinterpreted the persons message. I thought they were trying to sell me spurs. I did have a pair of Ludwig Spur mounts sell just recently on ebay. I'm guessing they must have saw one of my posts in the For Sale section to the auction and thought they were still for sale. I guess It was the part in his message about buying and selling that made me think he was trying to sell me spurs. And the fact that I just Sold a pair on ebay. I thought it was a scam. Then again it still could be because of they mentioned about doing and interact bank transfer. And there lots of scammers out there trying to get peoples bank info.

So again my apologises to Ambrose and everyone here for all the trouble I caused.

Thanks to Longjohn for pointing this out to me.
