Does anybody have any pics of the spurs and spur mounts that would have been factory-issued with a Camco Oaklawn bass drum? If so, I'd love to see them.
THANKS in advance for your time and your help!

Here you go! The wing screws are wrong on the mounts in the pic, but I hope this helps.
There were also straight spurs similar to the kind used by Gretsch and those used on Club Dates.
Here some pictures of both versions.
Both are installed on an Oaklawn 22” bass drum.
Notice that the curved ones installed on the early 1960’s Champagne Sparkle drum are cut off so they didn’t get in the way of the bd-lug-spacer.

THANKS so much for your time, the pics you provided and the information that you provided. I greatly appreciate it!
The drum I've got has the "round" mounts on it.
Any idea what the determining factor might havew been as to which spurs and mounts were factory-issued with the Camco kits? Was it the year or possibly the particular kit? Just wondering.
You’re very welcome,...
It seems that during the first half of the Oaklawn period, both versions were used. (1961-1965) Most of the „round” mounts can be found on the earlier and smaller bass drums. Like everything with Camco, things are never black and white. My 4-ply 22” Champagne sparkle bass drum is the earliest while it has the „later” curved spurs. The Natural Maple set has the „earlier” version of „round” bass drum spurs but the drum itself is later 6-ply,...
My 18" BD has the straight spurs. Oaklawn.
Yeah, generally seems to be on the smaller bass drums (which means 18") but turns up on others (perhaps after customer choice?).
I've got some spare bits and pieces from the straight mounts if you need them.
Hope you don't mind me piggy-backing on your thread. I landed here searching for the exact same information and thought any help I get would be valid for future researchers.
I have what I believe to be a very early Camco kit and I'm trying to verify if some of the parts that don't look Camco may be leftover George Way parts. Or, I fell for the banana in the tailpipe when I was told the kit is "all original". I've seen some "blurry" pics that give me hope these are original parts, but more to George Way than Camco.
My questions here are about the floor tom brackets and wing screw as well as the wing screw on the bass drum spur mount. The screw on bass drum spur mount is the one that definitely looks wrong to me, but then I saw a photo of a George Way floor tom with the same type of wing screw. I've seen these types of wing screws on Slingerland Radio King hardware.
Any clarity on these parts would be much appreciated. I'm attaching some photos. Giving a photo courtesy to musicradar.com for the photo of the BDP floor tom.
Thanks
red66charger, both screws are Camco stylee. I'm used to seeing the smaller ones on flat base cymbals stands but have also seen 'em on hi-hats so seeing there doesn't surprise me nor do I think it would be "wrong". The floor tom mounts do owe more to Geo. Way than Camco. No USA on the badges?
Old School, as mentioned previously, the round bass drum mounts with the straight legs were usually (though not always) on the smaller bass drums. My 18" has them but my 20" has the curved ones, for example.
I've a got a set of the mounts but not the legs if you need some.
Thanks David. I'm good on mounts and legs (my 20" has the curved legs). Hoping to nail down the correct wing screws for the legs. I too have seen the round flat screws on other Camco hardware, like stands.
Dan
