Where did your wife/girlfriend sit?
The only space left would have been his lap, or the gear shift! Either way, I don't want to know the answer to that one!!! Eye Ball
Excellent packing job! Like getting 5 lbs. of Baloney into a 2 lb. bag! My last car was a Subaru Forrester and I was able to get -three- complete kits into it one time. I was so proud I was tempted to take a picture of it!
I know how you feel!

I used to haul my gear in a 1970 Mach 1. Trap case JUST fit sliding in the trunk. Floors and mounted toms in soft cases in back seat. And the bass (A 24" in a fiber no less) rode shotgun with the seat/shoulder belt holding it in. Back then my drum room was on the 3rd floor in the attic. I used to lug the trap case and everything up and down 3-4 times a week for practice and shows. Ahh to be young again~! LOL. Sweet ride ya have there Gary~!
It was a Plymouth Fury station wagon for me in the old days and i used to take the top off my two floor tom cases that rode right behind me.Then i`d put my Pioneer tape deck speakers on top of the floor toms.Talk about a big boost in bass sound.Nice wheels Gary and looks like you`ve got the packing down to a science and the drums arrive in style!

Looks like a pretty sweet "problem" to have!!!
I used to fit a five piece Pearl wood (22", 16", 13", 12", 5.5 x14") kit plus cymbals and stands into my 1973 Camaro LT.
So now it`s a 6 speed ? Must of been a heck of a Challenge !i
I fit all of the gear in my "What I've Been Using" thread in an 02 Venture minivan….
And looking up this old thread, I realize I've been "filling in" for over 3 years now… ooof!  DOH

Love that kit! I don't think I've ever said this to another guy before, but... you have a GREAT rack! LOL
Do you still use that combination drum-rack/riser? Such a cool looking thing. Great for home though. Not something I imagine I'd lug to a gig!
