Blaemire snare with Rogers hardware Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Need close up pic of the lug, interior of the lug, the boss and top of lug from inside, and what fasteners are used. There are variations to the Beavertail lug. You would be wanting the correct one. Also, helpful is what year was your snare built?

Bantam throw off, which would have been on a 60s Rogers R360 Yamaha built steel shell with the Rogers design duplex lugs. A nice throw.

Thanks for the info Ploughman. I will post a pic on Friday, as my drum is at work, and I'm taking Thursday off.

Those bantam throws came on a couple of american shells too. I have a six lug Rogers Banner model snare that had it. Thats a very capable strainer. I put it on my dynasonic temporarily and It's just as smooth as the clock face.

Greg - 60's Rogers hardware and a Blaemire shell is a marriage made in heaven! That Rogers stuff is as rock-solid as it gets and I'll bet the mass it adds to the thin Blaemire shell only makes it a more substantial sounding drum. Not that the Blaemire shell needs any help. A most excellent combination of components.

Too many great drums to list here!

Hey John,

It's a really cool wrap and I like the Rogers hardware. What is cool is that while I have it disassembled I just happened to measure the shell, and it's 6.25" deep. Cool1
