A real beauty! Great job by everyone involved. Is that a solid shell? Walnut or Mahogany? Those early Artist snares are works of art. Tone flange's are pretty cool. Very nice re wrap too!

Beautiful resto job! Jack Lawton cut down a 10x14 George Way marching snare drum down to 4.5x14 for me. He did such an amazing job it will fool you if you didn't know. He does amazing work.

Thanks very much, Jim. It's nice having this forum to display stuff like this. It's kind of like the "if a tree falls..." saying. There is little enjoyment in these restorations if no one gets to see them.
