Re: Band uniforms...

There was a small dance club in Manhattan that I played at several times as a sit-in drummer. They had a powder blue jacket with a crest on it that I would have to wear when I played with them. All the musicians wore one.

It STUNK! They apparently never dry-cleaned it. Drummer after drummer would sweat in this thing all night long and then the next guy would add his funk and so on and so on. I hated putting it on but $20. was $20. and a lot of money for one-nights pay back then. I'll never forget the jacket though. It was like wearing a used towel from a high-school locker room!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I did however dry clean it regularly.
