Netsell4u please forgive my exchange with the other forum member. His suggested starting price is way off. this drum is a $2500.00 + dollar drum. place an ad in the For sale section stating taking offers see if that is too your liking.

Am I seeing where it says Super Ludwig on the bottom hoop to the right of the throw ? They didn`t call it that until the thirties. Start at $2500 like VM2k suggested, I would and it wont drop, no matter how long, you`ll get that+

Oh, and we can`t say this enough, Don`t clean it, that wrap around clip looks two piece, are you sure it snapped off ?

netsell, there`s a good chance this is the only one, unless Mike says otherwise because I`ve never seen or heard of that shell drilled for that strainer !i

Thank you OddBall, you are correct, it is not a break on the clip, it is missing clasp & screw...and are you serious about one of a kind (known)...or was the "my bad" related to that as well?

Yes, and I said possibly because I`ve never seen that shell drilled factory for that throw-off strainer,....BUT, the worlds best teens and twenties snare drum collector is a member here and hasn`t chimed in yet.

The Super Ludwig and Delux drums were two different models, you have delux finish and gunmetal engraved shell with a Super Ludwig engraved hoop and throw-off. Does it say Super Ludwig on both hoops, I can only see where on the bottom hoop ? It`s a combo of both models and I await Mikes` opinion, he`ll probably clear the air here !i

Thank you all for your info and assistance...OddBall, the top hoop does not say "Super-Ludwig" on it...I can't wait to get Mike's opinion! This is quite exciting for me!
