Mouse on here has a wealth of knowledge too on Kents and helped me massively on my snare...

Yes sir I do have the whole kit. bass, snare, mounted tom and floor tom in blue sparkle. Im gonna post pics of it soon.
I have a Revere snare that looks like yours, check it out. Revere was made by Kent as far as I know.

Ok here are pics of my Orange sparkle kent kit. I have finished restoring the snare and begun work on the mounted tom and floor tom. I really haven't touched the bass drum. Just loosened the tension rods. These are stamped Feb. of '66 inside.
MC, those are very cool, you dont see orange sparkle too often and your's look like they are in real good condition. Please show some pics when you get them all set up.

Kent's continue to elude me.
I've found two kits and gone to look at 'em. The one was a rusty mess that the guy wanted $300.00 for... nice little 20, 12, 14, and matching snare in hardly faded red sparkle and included original hardware and junk cymbals. But the RUST! It was everywhere, and had actually stained the wrap and inside the shells. Inside isn't that big a deal, but the lugs were only a memory. I don't even remember giving him a low ball offer, I'm pretty sure I just passed.
The other was a young family that had decided to divorce. Sad, but... Blue sparkle in a 20, 12, 13, 16 (think), with the snare. We discussed the price and reached an agreement. (wife showed 'em, discussed price with hubby over the phone). I was to pick them up the next day, but when I went to pick them up, they said that they had reconciled, and he didn't want to sell. Actually, I didn't mind loosing that one at all. They live kind of nearby, and are still together (see 'em working in the yard sometimes). That was three or four years ago. The drums were his grandfathers.

By the way, the sizes of my orange Kents are 13, 15, 22, and 14 snare. We find a lot of Kents around here because it seems like everyones first kit was a kent so there are a lot floating around still. Many still in decent condition. Mine still had the original Kent drum heads. Can you imagine, 47 years without changing a drum head?
