Is that an 18" floor tom w/ 3 legs? All the ones I've ever seen had 4 legs.

Looks like the shells were ordered with no mounts, then Rogers legs, spurs and Tom holder were added. How else would you explain the 14" with no legs or mounts?

So Camco would have put four, but since the drum shop put them on they probably just put the standard set of three.

I like Drums...

I have this habit of checking out really cool drums that I run across on the bandstand - this is one set that would occupy more than a little bit of my time if I saw it.

Is the interior of the bass drum original, or have you redone it, and is it as dark as it looks in the picture? (Shellac tends to darken beautifully like that: I didn't think anyone was using shellac at that time.)

So many drummers nowadays play brand new sets, which don't interest me at all. I enjoy seeing older sets being used for what they were intended for, rather than gathering dust in closets and basements. I hope you are still playing them and making good music....

6.5 x 14 from Oaklawn or Chanute era is rare. I finally found one last year in a rare color too, Oaklawn ebony stain. Nice kit! I've never seen interiors that dark before either!

Well since you have never seen it before, it must not be a real Camco...Lol...Mind Blowi

Crow? For what? Something that I can't prove is real? I don't instantly jump to conclusions and accept something is real even if I can't prove it, not a good practice to do. I would end up eating crow on many mistakes if I did that! Have I made mistakes in the past? Absolutely. Did Camco ever make shells without re-rings? I honestly don't know but I don't have any proof to prove that they did. I'm not sure what your beef is with me but like I said before, whatever!

Beautiful set of "woody's" Dave! Personally, I love the look of the matching interior with the clear batter.
