The badge is 69 into the 70`s with the correct gromet, the only thing throw`n me off is it is waaaay too clean on the inside to be factory, but I`m a Sonor guy and that`s my two pennies !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Looks right to me. Not a Jazz Fest though...it's a 6 lug Pioneer.

You have a very fine collection, and that snare will fit right in with your Butcher Block kit, same shade and all !i

looks like a legit clear interior 3 ply pioneer to me as well. don't recall the last time ive seen one in that finish. value-depends on how bad you want it to match a kit or whatever. 250 or so certainly wouldnt be too much.

Kind of just what i thought... I had never even seen a butcher block snare before!!! Did not really now if this was a rewrap or not? Even still snce i already have a cool butcher block double bass kit, this snare would be the icing on the cake!!! Thanks to all for your expert opinions!

I`m not sure wich year ludwig stopped but with that badge, the wrap should go into the scarf joint if it`s original !i Maybe.

i think the wrap in the scarf joint ended in 68 when they went to the clear maple interiors.

It's totally fake, and you should immediately mail it to me to get that counterfeit snare out of circulation.
