Sal Mineo worked long and hard to be convincing in that movie. David Cassidy claims to have the set that Gene Krupa gave to Sal at the end of the movie.

Reefer Madness was always one of the Midnight Movies around here. That and the Holy Grail or Fantastic Planet. They're all pretty good when you're high.

Yep. Great movie! I too think that Sal Mineo was really good. I'm sure he worked hard to be convincing on film. Jeez, you guys mention a lot of old movies that have become classics! Yeah, "Reefer Madness" was one of the best. When I was younger, " 2001, A Sace Odyssey" was also the flick to watch after "imbibing". Oh yeah! How about "Easy Rider"? Has anyone ever seen The Monkees' "head"? I'm still not sure what to make of that piece of celluloid.

You are so VERY right! I just had to edit my previous reply because I typed in the wrong date for "2001". I swear I've only had a couple of beers too!

Man, I can't even imagine how life would be for the "pioneers" back in the day! I was just a kid trying to impress girls with my wonderful drumming skills and fantastic vocal work. Okay. I can't lie. I never impressed too many. Damn!!!
