I have seen other snares like this (8 in deep, 10 lug, this era) and my understanding was that they were worth several hundred dollars, but close to 1K? ????? Ya got me???

Hey Gary! Glad you are happy with the rods and claws!
My thoughts exactly Mike!! I looked very close at the pictures before posting this here (dang, missed the map though!), and noticed what it looks to be an extra hole under the P-85 strainer...
I appreciate all the responses I have received this past year, and the knowledge I have gained from all of you! Have had the opportunity this past year to get a few items I needed for projects, as well as return the favor for some of the members, and has been a pleasurable experience!!
