Just picked up this Rogers kit, and have not seen this type of tom/cymbal mount before. Is this original to the kit? Thanks!

Blair tells you true... man, what a sweet set of drums. I'm a sucker for red glass. Enjoy them.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

They came out with this double tom mount in the late 50's?

Known as the 'Top Hat' setup, it was shown with a 20" bass and 2 12" toms. It was available from the 50's thru 1966 and then the model name changed to 'Londoner', first shown in the 1967 catalog issued in late 1966.

The Londoner was shown with a 20" bass, 12" and 13" toms, and the t-bar mount that was used until 1975.

That's a beautiful kit you have there.
