Dream Cymbals

I just picked up a 22" Dream Energy ride at Banjo Center. Never heard one of these beasts before. Must say I'm impressed...Any of the esteemed Forum members have any experience with these?

Yep, good advice bunny, these are hand hammered cymbals so they all sound different. I've definitely heard some real gems, but I've also heard a few that were a way too trashy for my taste, definitely try before you buy. Great affordable cymbals for sure!

+2 on the Bunnyman advice ... Do a search on this forum and you'll come up on some threads that discuss Dream cymbal quality of sound. There really are some sweet ones out there, but man oh man ... you have to test each one.

I have a 16" Bliss crash and a 18" Bliss crash/ride

both are incredible cymbals. I was lucky enough to have a large selection to choose from.

the 16" was an easy choice all 4 I tried sounded good. the 18", when I went into the shop I was looking for a 17" crash and found a good one, however I liked the sounds of the 18",s. I managed to find an 18" that crashed like the 17" but also had a nice washy ride sound.

the guys are right what they say here, you need to try them first, NO internet shopping for theses babes

I have a Dream 8inch gong that sounds monsterous. I've tapped on a few at a local drum shop and have been impressed with their sound. If I could I would own a complete set.
