So I just got a 22" Rogers Holiday kick shell with no hardware on it. The lug holes are set for B&B lugs and I was wondering what my options are. I'd obviously like to have some B&B lugs but they are expensive and I've heard they are prone to cracking. I'm a player, not a collector, so I'm not a stickler for putting original parts and stuff on it. I'm just curious if anyone knows of any new (affordable) lugs out there that fit the same holes. I believe the holes are 2 1/8" apart. If you know of any lugs or any problems I may run in to please let me know. Thanks.

I have heard that Pearl lugs from the 1980's will work...
I have quite a few also if you need any...

What is the distance from the center of the holes on those lugs? If they're 2 1/8", how much would you want for them? I need 20 but 10 would work for now if you don't have 20.

You can get B&B lugs from and they are better made than the old Rogers. Jim is the owner of Rogers Parts and has corrected a lot of Rogers Flows in parts.

Not really drilling. Just elongate the toward the shell center hole about 1/16" with a round file and the Beavertails will work. The B&B are flat to the shell tabs. The Beavertails have stubs on them, so the holes may need to be filed a bit to fit as well. Easy to do, and then lugs are plentiful.

Thanks. I'll have to try that. I assume buying the lugs first would be smart. I'll try and get a hold of some when I get a little more money. I also have a 20" blue onyx Rogers that needs hoops, claws, and rods and I'm thinking its gonna be a quicker fix so the little bit of money I have will go to it first.
